International Projects

The KfV has taken part in European Commission funded projects for many years. Current major projects include the 'Expanding the EU Injury Database', 'Prevention of Adolescent Injuries in Europe', 'Prevention of Injuries to Vulnerable Road Users' and the '1st European Conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion'. We are also partners in many projects, including: prevention of violence against women, burden of injuries in Europe, child safety action plans for Europe, prevention of skiing injuries in Europe, etc.

The aim of these projects is to collaborate with other European partners in the injury prevention field to reduce the significant burden of injuries in Europe, using a public health framework.
