Focal Point for Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion

KfV (Austrian Road Safety Board) has been designated as the Austrian "Focal Point for Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion" by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Health and Women. In doing so, the KfV functions as the link between the WHO (Head Office and Europe) and the Ministry of Health. Examples of important services in this function were carrying out the 7th World Conference for Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion in 2004 and the 1st European Conference for Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion in 2006.
